Cheesecake Lovers Unite. This is my Easy 3 Ingredient Cheesecake Dip Recipe. It's perfect to whip up really quick and serve with fresh strawberries. Our Family Favorite. Crowd Pleaser! The best part is the ingredient list. It's one of those easy recipes you can remember by heart.

Then & Now
Let me tell you real quick how I came up with this recipe. I was at my Aunt Maura's house back around the early 1990's. She served a dip with strawberries that tasted so good so I needed to collect the recipe.
She is such a good cook and always willing to share her secrets.
It turned out that she had a little packet of seasoning like a flavoring mixture that came from an Amish type store. There was only a little bit of powder in the baggie.
All of the ingredients you had to add yourself and mix with the packet. The packet said to add cream cheese and marshmallow cream. That's pretty much the whole recipe so I'm not exactly sure what was in the packet! 🙂 Possibly some powdered sugar, lemonade mix, and nutmeg.
Ingredients
- Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese
- Marshmallow Creme, aka Marshmallow Fluff
- Fresh lemon juice
How To Make Cheesecake Dip
Directions
1. Set cream cheese in a large bowl for 30 minutes to get it close to room temperature.
2. Add in the marshmallow creme.
3. Add the lemon juice.
4. Beat with an electric mixer (hand mixer or food processor) until smooth.
Best Strawberries for Dipping
My favorite fresh strawberries are the Organic Driscoll's. If the regular Driscoll's look better, I get them. They are superior to other strawberries. You can usually recognize them because they are fatter and wider than other strawberries. Of course, if you grew your own or went picking, then those are the best!
These strawberries are delicious in my Strawberry Bisquick Shortcake Recipe.
Additional Ideas
Sometimes I add a dusting of fresh nutmeg to the dip. Nutmeg is commonly used in cheesecakes. You want to just make it only a little, about less than ¼ teaspoon.
For baby showers or pink theme, you could blend two strawberries (pureed) into the dip for pink (It's a Girl!) Strawberry Cheesecake Dip. If you add strawberries, omit the lemon juice.
Perfect for a Valentines' Day Party Board. Position the strawberries in the shape of a heart!
Serving Suggestions
Strawberries are the best fresh fruit for this dip but your fruit fruit will pair nicely.
You might like to add some simple ingredients to the dip:
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract or other pure extract like orange.
- 1 cup Cool Whip if you want a fluffier dip.
- Drizzle in some Caramel Topping for a Caramel Cheesecake Dip.
- You don't want to use low fat cream cheese because it will make the dip too thin.
Your Favorite Dippers
I grind up some Nabisco Graham Crackers (in the red box-those are my favorite) in the food processor and serve those next to the dip tray. You could also use vanilla wafers.
Storage
Keep in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap for up to three days before serving. Once it has been dipped in, discard. Do not save leftovers.
I hope you love this easy, creamy Cheesecake Dip as much as we do. If you have some more ideas you've tried with Cheesecake Fruit Dip for Strawberries, please leave a comment on the bottom of this post!
